Probably no till now. This question plunged into my mind because when I was searching for “GoogleBot” in Google, I saw Wikipedia ranking better than Google. This clearly shows that Google is impartial towards itself.
Google’s algorithm is not transparent. But this really helps them to preserve their transparency. Hats off to Lary Page and Sergey Brin. They should have written their Algorithm so that everyone is equal before that algorithm. And that is why Wikipedia has ranked better than Google (at least for sometime).
The question is not on the competition, but to expose Google’s frankness and transparency of their algorithm.
